Wisdom Writing with a Tree

I feel as though a tree is easy to write with. I'm a tree-lover for sure - forest-bathing and simply being outside is a true healing and rejuvenating experience for me. I have favorite trees that I talk to and have written with various trees in numerous locations around the world.
When I write with trees, sometimes I will have a conversation with them, or I write as if I am the tree, sharing what I see, feel, and desire as the tree. Other times, I write if me and my personality were the tree what I would notice, and how would I feel.
If I'm away from my home area, I have been known to ask the tree what wisdom it has to share with me, what life is like in that particular forest, or how they feel about the history of the area.
Recently I wrote with a tree nearby and I couldn't seem to settle in on a specific way to write with the tree. I volleyed from observing the tree, to pondering what it needed/wanted, to seeing the world from the tree's perspective.
Perhaps that was a reflection of how I'd been flitting around from one thing to the other in my waking life, unable to settle into one groove and move forward with it. Or...maybe I wanted to gain all the information from the tree in an instant and was impatient to find the method that was appropriate for that moment.
So - I wrote again the next day and found a rhythm from the tree's perspective.
What wisdom have you gleaned from writing with or about trees?
